Does anyone elses jeep do this....

This is the hood of my black 97. Its horrible. Has anyone tried to get it fixed at the stealership? Ive seen it on other chryslers.

its definetly paint failing. but in all honesty i've never seen factory paint do this. factory had a clear delam. problem which looks completly different.This has probabaly been repainted. Is it on the top of the fenders too? Factory warentee was 3yr 36,000 I believe.

It happens to A LOT of jeeps...Mine is doing the same thing...Its starting to do it on the roof too...I think I heard it has to do with a factury deffect/heat from the sun...

Well it hasnt been repainted and no its not doing it on top of the fenders. Ive been researching and have found it has happened to a lot of 97+ Chryslers of all kinds.

A wet sand with 2000 grit and then a new clear coat will fix most of it.
