I have a NP242 transfercase out of a 1990 XJ (27 Spline). It has an extended slip yoke installed. I was using this on a RE 4.5inch lift. Nothing is wrong with anything, it was pulled so I could put in a 231 with Sye. I also have all the shifter linkage parts to go with it.

Rear drive shaft out of a 1990 XJ. Came out of a jeep with a NP242 and Dana 44. I believe the same u joint mates up with a dana 35.
