So, I finally got a gas skid and also a trailor hitch. Does it matter if the hitch mounts 1st then the gas tank skid or the other way around? I would think the hitch would mount and then the skid but I DUNNO!!!!!!!!
Anyone got both? how does it mount.
Thanks

When I put my gas tank skid on the 94 I had to remove my hitch assembly to do the install. Can't remember why exactly but I do remember doing it that way. :patriot:

I WISH it was a skid row skid. It is a factory skid, which is better than nothing. I might weld on some 3/16" strips or something but who knows.
Thanks for all the help guys

Hitch then skid.
Better bearing surface from hitch to fram than hitch to skid to frame.

That's how my stock skid was, too. Hitch then skid.
