my buddy has a 89 xj with a renix 4.0 engine and needs a part number for the oil pressure sending unit because the auto parts store has one listed but its not the right one. does anyone know what the part number is?

Is there a gage or a light on the panel? The parts are different...

his has a pressure gauge just like my 95 xj i havent seen one with a light.

According to my '88 Parts guide (should be the same), it's 5300 5218 for the 4.0l. Strangely, it doesn't make any distinction between using a gauge or light.

There are a few others listed for gauge. Also, many for warning light applications.
