thought it was new. its defianately set up. but he does a good documentation on survival.

I agree...the average person wouldn't have a clue to do a lot of what he does. Just a bit over the edge for Hollywood though. I think it was the same guy that did another show on surviving in somewhere like the Yukon in the dead of winter. To make it harder (as if), he faked having a broken arm and slinged it. That lasted about a day and he ditched that idea.

yea i remember that one. it is the same guy! he was defiantely struggling with that arm bandaged up. you gotta know the knew the depth of that pool he jumped in! he wouldnt jump into unknown waters ya know

thats the survivorman. he has a show on one of the discovery branches. Theres a bunch of them all with different scenerios.

survivorman is an interesting show, but they play the same 6 episodes over and over.

By the way, I know you occasionaly come across folgers cans in the field, but I missed the part where he found two of them, the one he used to hang away from his camp, and the other he left sitting by the fire..:dunno:

He was stranded in the Arizonian desert once. Yeah that would suck to experience 110F heat but it was filmed in the winter. YOu could see his breath in the morning and he wore long pants and a jacket/long shirt during the day.

I only watched a few minutes of it, but the guy's a dumbass. He jumped into a freezing stream and floated "12 miles" downriver, wearing jeans and a cotton sweatshirt. That's just asking for hypothermia and death.
