thanks guys, we don't have many places to play out here... Hopefully this petition will help keep it open, or at least get an awesome new section of land out of the arrangement.

This fight affects all of us - East - West - North - South. Private parks or public land, no matter where or what it is, we have to remain consistent in our desire to retain access for safe and legal wheeling.
Do what you can, in whatever fashion best suits you, but, at the very least, add your name to this petition.
NAXJA alone should be able to provide a couple of thousand names - get the word out to any friends in any club.

#5068 However we all know that a petition in this situation will do little if nothing to help save the park. It is up to the current management and the courts to decied if the lease is valid or enforcable.

Yes, but any support helps. IF they get a real chance in hell with the courts, this may show something.

well we scored a victory today, at least temporarily, this is from an article posted online at 5:30 PM
Lokuta says Paragon can keep land until appeals have been exhausted
By STEVE MOCARSKY smocarsky@timesleader.com
WILKES-BARRE – The owner of Paragon Adventure Park scored another victory in court today when a judge ruled that Kyle Knosp – the off-road-vehicle park owner – would keep possession of the park’s land until all appeals on a lease issue have been exhausted.
Gladstone Partners L.P. – a group that wants to build a $1.6 billion cargo airport on land partly occupied by the park – sued Knosp, claiming that he breached his 25-year lease with landowner PCA Corp. The Gladstone Partners want Paragon evicted so they can buy the land from PCA Corp.
Knosp denied breaching the lease and is appealing an eviction order issued by a lower court.
Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas Judge Ann Lokuta denied nearly every motion or request Gladstone made at today’s hearing, including a request to recuse herself from the case because of a possible prejudice toward Gladstone’s attorney of record – Jill Moran, who is also the county prothonotary.
Lokuta heard arguments on whether a preliminary injunction she issued yesterday to bar Gladstone from the land through the appeal process should remain in effect.
Gladstone on Monday had exercised an eviction order from a lower court; they padlocked the park gate and locked Knosp out of his office trailer.
The order Lokuta issued today prohibits Gladstone from denying Knosp access to the land and barred Gladstone from interfering with Paragon’s use of the land throughout the appeals process. Her order also requires Knosp to post a $7,648.35 bond to guarantee his appeal, rather than honor Gladstone’s request that he post a $40 million bond.
Look for the full story in Thursday’s Times Leader.

Well, not sure if it was a local distributor, or backed from Corporate, but there was at least one $1000 Skyjacker lift kit as part of the charity raffle at Paragon back on Feb 3. As well as a large banner. I seem to recall they, and Quadratec, and many, many others contributed to the raffle.
Great turnout, great raffle, great support. And, as it turned out (at least for now) Paragon is still hanging in while the appeals are running through and the rest of the story plays out. Stay tuned and stay focused - especially since a lot of us are not sure about the the "airport" deal - which just may turn out to be a bait and switch to get the land cleared of its tenants to do something else with it.
Save Paragon.

Canadians for Paragon!
It would suck if they close before I even get a lift kit done. I want to play at Paragon!
Who knows if these petitions actually work in a case like this, but it's one of the few voices we have and it's better than doing nothing.
They close dragstrips and kids end up street racing. Closing Paragon likely means an increase in illegal wheeling. Greed over common sense. Maybe we could file a class-action suit against Gladstone for mental anguish?
