seen alot of talk about using a front drive shaft in the rear with a SYE. why cant you just use the regular slip yoke?

a basic answer is lifted drive line angels cause vibes a sye and front drive shaft allows you to use a double cardan joint and allows you to get rid of the vibs also a sye shouldnt leak if you damage your front drive shaft and have to remove it to continue

so can i just attatch it at the ujoint at the rear slip yoke or not?? thats my question.

If you were to put a slip-jointed shaft on a slip yoke, wouldn't it fall off?

The whole idea of a slip yoke eliminator kit is to eliminate the factory style slip yoke to be able to use a slip style driveshaft with improved joints and less angles. I ran stock for some time after my 4.5 inch lift and my factory slip was only in the tranny about 1 3/4 inches at best of times and the terrible noise it made because of the shap angle. Not to metion the teeth chattering vibes
