Trying to get the last few pieces of my buggy planned out and have come accross with about 10 different ways to mount my orbital valve for my hydro steering (on the firewall, on the frame, on my bumper brackets, ect...) just wondering how yall have mounted your valves... pics would be sweet, I have no ability to picture things in my head)

He modified the stock spool valve from an OEM steering box to mate up to the orbital input, so he was able to keep the stock steering shaft & column. Works well enough that he hasn't changed it in the last two years.

I mounted mine in the stock steering box location and used the stock steering shaft.

I used the stock steering shaft but mounted mine above the frame. Not inside the frame as shown.

I do not like the ones that are mounted inside the cab directly to the steering wheel. There is alot of hot presurized oil that I want nowhere near my nuts.

I also wraped my hoses with some old radiator hose and used a spring to keep it tucked up and out of the way or rocks but hte spring aloows it to come down when Its flexing. I covered the sprign with some plastic wire loop other wise you hear the spring boing noise all the time..

I also protected the lines with radiator hose where they go by the frame near the engine pullies and radiator fan.
