Well my flares looked like as$. I just never got around to doing anything about it cause well... I dunno, I just didn't. New ones aren't too expensive at about $90 shipped, but after getting my electric bill for last month $275, I was like... maybe I ought to try painting them first.

So I headed down to OSH, got me a can of plastic patio furniture paint and went to town. The first one I did a lot of sanding on which wasn't really required by the paint, other than to remove loose stuff, but the other ones I just roughed up and made sure I got the loose junk off.

Anyway, they came out great, the only real PITA was taking the flares off and putting them back on again. In hindsight, I should have done my fender trimming while I was in there, but I was retarded I guess.

Yeah, building a new front bumper, then I'm gonna hack off the bottom 1/3 of that flare and cut and fold that lower sheetmetal up so the bumper can sweep back. :D
