I was battling a no-start condition after changing out a bent flexplate on a 92 XJ 4.0L auto.
In the first picture is a template created with the old flexplate indicating
the location of the (CPS)timing slots needed for the engine to run properly.
In the second picture is the template placed in the new/installed flexplate.
The timing slots don't line up. (Orientation was the crankshaft bolt holes)
I am working with Tellico4x4.com for a replacement flexplate.
They indicated that one other flexplate was reporting the same problem and possibly a bad batch...
