school me on TRE's

First post here, woo hoo.
Someone school me for I do not know. Tell me the taper of a xj tre, is it 1 1/2" or 2" per foot? The thread (size/pitch), and I read somthing about a zj upgrade,what is beefier about the zj tre, is the taper portion bigger or the threaded portion.
