Every freakin road across the Pantano was closed!

I went south on Harrison to Irvington, then to Kolb and up.

Took an hour to get through.

I'd like to know what pencil neck city offcial thought it would be a good idea to shut the roads down and kick them in the sack a few times!!

I got back from Flagstaff last night (snowy flagstaff) and thought i was going crazy when i saw the white stuff the minute I got off of i10 onto Ina.

I don’t even try anymore. Law enforcement’s control and containment practices are beyond belief. The low level of quality driver’s in tucson is beyond belief. The sheer number of vehicles in a stop and go surface-street commute is beyond belief. The fact that a minor snow and ice storm has left the city closed and dangerous is beyond belief.

In the past I would not think twice about heading in to tucson with weather conditions but I have been burned so many times now, mostly by law enforcement, that I won’t even try. I have a mtn, numerous washes and four bridges to cross just to get to the surface street crap and I bet somewhere along the route I would get screwed. http://www.dakotacom.net/~jeepster/tipshades.gif

We had a hard time getting to our jobsite this morning too...we are working on a ranch just past the taque verde\wrightstown bridge and we couldnt cross...we had to go to work in catalina and we didnt start til 9am...lol
