When you've gone to the sand dunes, did one tank of gas last you all day, or did you take extra cans? What's the word about this bar b q mentioned earlier; do we all need to bring something to cook or just our own lunches etc? Is there a place at the Dunes you usually meet at for those who go the Nephi way? Thanks!

All questions about the Feb 3rd trip should be posted in that thread, to keep it all organized. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=903149&page=3

I don't know of anyone coming from the Nephi area, so if you want to come that way, just meet everyone else at the entrance around 9:30. If your coming from Evanston, the best bet would be to meet up with the people coming from Salt Lake and convoy down. There is gas in Eureka so if you need to fill up for the trip home it shouldn't be a problem. Also I'm not sure what BBQ your talking about??

I just had a thought. If your coming straight from Evanston, the better thing would be to meet at Ryans. As your coming down from Evanston take i84 down towards Ogden. Then highway 89 to his house. If thats what you decide to do, we can get you directions to his place.

I see the logic in this.....but coming from Evanston, heading over Parleys or to Heber and then down Provo Canyon and taking I-15 South to Santaquin would be a shorter route....but then, I'm always looking for a shortcut.

Very true. My bad. Just was thinking of the "Easiest" not the shortest.
