Where the arrow is, That looks to be a round, offset lobe, more and likley for a fuel pump, or oil pump. It uses a sloid rod to move something. Its for a 4 banger BTW. The gear in the middle is more and likley for a distributor.

No way could it be for a 4 banger. It has 12+1 lobes so it has to be for a straight six. The 13th lobe is probably there to drive a mechanical fuel pump. The gear in the middle is to drive the distributor.
My guess is that this cam is probably either for a carburretted AMC 199/232/258 I6, a Chevy I6, or a Ford I6.

yeah, all the aftermarket cams ive seen for the 4.0 have the mech fuel pump lobe, because the cams work in the 4.0 and the 4.2

The cams we use are amc L6 cams. I don't know of anyone that make a cam without the extra "lobe"

I've positively identified the cam. It's the Erson ERS-E470521 solid lifter cam for the Chrysler slant six. Here are the details:

Who's a clever boy eh? ;)
