We have a brother that has fallen into the casm that is the Picture Showcase forum.
River - our once mild-mannered, straight-as-an-arrow mountain boy has become a victim of the lame picture request addiction!!!!
Chris used to be so into discussing his hopes and dreams for his XJ.... now he's lost all focus and is letting his mind be corrupted over delusions of cheezy auto accessories a-la Pep Boys! It's bad fellas - we're talking pic requests for shifter knobs and air fresheners!!!!
Let's organize! We need to pry him away from the keyboard and put him back into his XJ! (Prolly should bring the coat with the straps and buckles - just in case...)
:D

I firmly believe that this may be the worst case of Altitude Sickness I've ever seen. There's a very good chance he's beyond help at this point. He's turned ino a :geek: .
Sad really, he was such a promising lad.:tears:

Ya know, come to think of it....... this may be directly related to his infected dry nose. Sinuses being in close proximity to the brain and all...... time to alert the medics!
The fish idea is a good one - lure him away with images of the object of his affection. Anyone know where to get a few centerfolds from Fishboy magazine? (Can you believe I couldn't find a pic of a fish with rabbit ears in Google anywhere... sheesh.)

I think Heather is putting something in his food to keep him inside the house and out of the water...................:eyes:

It's probably because his sinus issues and all the bad weather have kept from fishing as much he would like. No doubt this has caused some kind of Web-Wheeler Psychosis!
Maybe we should get Beej to help?

I think it is terminal cabin fever, another Colorado malady. If not watched closely, it may degenerate into the dreaded ice fishing obsession.

Very funny chuckleheads!! :laugh3:
I was just telling DJ the other day that I don't normally beome involved in that kinda crap. Kudos to Da Judge and the Old Man. It's the damn sinuses and the cabin fever that's got me down. Complete boredom. I've organized my fishing gear numerous times now. Heather actually stated these words: "I don't give a fawk what pocket of your pack you put your fly box in." I take long, deep sniffs of my net. I even drove to a bridge the other day so I could glass for any trout but alas...I saw nerry a one. :smsoap: I am currently jaded and bitter. I don't know what to do with my time. My students all hate me. Looking at all the photos of trout have driven me over the edge. I'm hoping to remedy that tomorrow. If it doesn't happen...you very well might need the straight jacket.
Dudes....I NEED the good stuff and I need it BAD. I'll probably have to take some slime of the next victim and rub in on my gums. :helpme:

Thank gawd - he's had a moment of semi-clarity!
Quick guys, get up there and snatch him up. I think a police escort to the Denver Aquarium is in order here! He needs some quality one-on-one time with the Trout!

I'm afraid that if we don't act quickly, he may hit bottom and - gasp - settle on using water-bound explosives to score junk fish like this poor addicted bastard.....

LOL - and I guess we'll know when he's gone to the point of no return......
When he uses junk fish for a shifter knob, or worse...... and air freshener.....
:wow:

Get a fly rod in his hand. That will snap him out of it.
