Okay, My friend finally got his XJ running. His son borrowed it to go to Advance to get some stuff. While in there, the remote start engaged, causing the Jeep to go for a drive. The Jeep ended up hitting a wall and stalling out, with the remote starter trying to re-start the Jeep until it was shut-down by yanking the battery cable. Now, the stupid thing WILL NOT start, the starter acts like it is hitting the flywheel, instead of engaging. Inside the Jeep, when you cross the starter at the starter, you can hear the buzzer under the dash, all the relays under the hood click, and you STILL get a no start/no engage. The starter has been swapped for a known good one, the starter relay is new, and the situaiton is still the same. The no start/no engage still occurs even if you pull the green wire for the solenoid off. It acts like there is a "backwash" going on into the main harness. Anyone have any ideas' as to what is wrong?
