Disconnecting Throttle Linkage from Body

I did a quick search with no luck. How do you disconnect the accelerator linkage from the throttle body? I'm speaking of the metal rod with a black plastic tip that connects to the large spring housing on the back side of the throttle body. It looks like this is a press fitting, but I don't want to take for granted that it is and break something in the removal process. I'm in the process of removing the throttle body for cleaning. TIA.

P.S. Anyone got the torque values for the torx bolts for the throttle body and plenum?

It just pops off. It's a snug fit ball and socket deal.

Don't know the torque specs. I just made sure they were good and tight.

Thanks. Mission accomplished. I finally did find the torque specs for the throttle body mounting bolts - 23 ft lbs (90 XJs and older). Just make sure you connect the IAC and TPS back up or you get a really high idle. :)
