that is correct. then you can go to shrinkpictures.com/create-a-avatar and make one from any picture. it has to be no bigger than 100 x 100 pixels though.

You can do that right on photobucket now too. It has an option when you re-size the pic to make it either, Message board size, Avatar, or other sizes.
