I've heard rumors that flat towing an XJ through Utah (on the way to MOAB :D) can be an issue. anyone know of any problems with this?
tow vehicle is an '06 chev diesel 2500 (might be a 3500, don't remember, renting it), will have a camper in the back.
Thanks for any help!
Cheers

There's no problem as long as the rig you're towing has appropriate brake and turnsignals, don't forget your mudflaps too......and there's a one-time $200.00 CN tarrif for those that spell Moab with a D.

DOH... that's what I get for trying to type while hungry...
mud flaps? think I'm pooched there...turn signals? crap, again... ;)
I imagine there's a wiring hookup I can buy and plug into my jeep to make the lights work like trailer lights would? (wow, THAT sounded intelligent... I really should eat something...). Now to just find something to act like mud flaps...
Thanks!

I happen to have the complete wiring harness, tow bar and front end attachments points for sale. They all came from my XJ and I believe they are specific to the XJ (didn't look like a "universal fit" hack job). I'd like to see about $4K for it, but I'm sure a deal can be struck somewhere between that and the price for shipping. :D
Be sure you get mud flaps. Save yourself some grief right off the top.
