cam/timing gear set

Does anyone know if a gear conversion set is available for the 4.0?

I have switched these on a motorcycle and a smallblock Chevy and have been very pleased with the results.

I've searched the forum and the net, and no joy, but if anyone is going to know, he's probly here. Thanks

Hesco made and sold gear drive kits...they address the problem of timing chains breaking from harmonics above 5300 rpm...sadly they are no longer in production...if you found one it would be a used one at a swap meet..the best you can do now is a double roller kit available thru Hesco or Jeep. Hesco also sells a HD single roller kit with the gear drilled and supplied with offset bushings to make it easy to degree the cam.

one of these days ill get some gears made to do this

anyone have the center-center measurements of the cam and crank?
