My right turn signal stays in the "blinking" on position (on dash and actual signal light) after turning right and the column lever does not return to the middle position after completing the turn. Left hand signal operates just fine. IDEAS?????

I just had the same problem but it was the left turn signal. The fix is fairly simple if you have a steering wheel remover. There are two small springs in the turn signal unit that operate the self canceling. If the spring breaks, the turn signal stays on. The springs are item 35 & 36 in the diagram below.

Of course you have to have a new spring to put in :banghead:
Hope that helps.
