ok,ok,ok.... First things first. I have got to pay my money and actually join NAXJA and be a part of the midwest chapter. But I've been busy with the fun stuff. I'm in the middle of two projects actually.
making the doors removeable

and building rocker guards. These actually have to be done by the 14th of this month for a trip to Jellico Tn. I'll be shooting some photos of the W.E.Rock rock crawling comp. out there (hobby #2). and hopefully wheeling.

And one of me actually working on them

I'm pretty excited about Carnagefest. It's close, it'll be my first, and it's the same weekend I turn 21...... see you guys there

Be afraid...be very afraid.
Biggest mistake noobs make at a MWC event:
They try to "blend in". My advice, introduce yourself, be yourself, don;t be afraid to come up to us all and "join in".
See you there.

Welcome, it'll be good to meet ya. I was wondering how you got that crooked cut on your rock rails, but then I saw what you were using to cut with. Been there myself, looking for a used bandsaw to replace the chop saw. Oh, and watch the sparks, scalp burns suck.

I know, I know... at least this lad has a choice about how short he cuts it. I can either shave it off or look like my father. He already has hand, eye and ear protection, I'm just suggesting a hat.

ok, i have to stick up for this guy. like he said he's 21, and ready and willing to learn how to wheel. i think he expressed interest in mechanical engineering if i remember right.( something in common with Opie, if i recall from conversation we had at WF) i think he will be willing to take any and all qualified advice from naxja members. anyhow, he rode with me at Rockport a couple of weeks ago, and was a very nice young fella, as opposed to some know it all, glorified, ex, teenager!! plus he owns an XJ, it's a good start.

Welcome Cruizer ... good to see someone who is willing to grow some balls, jump in and work on their junk. Rev made a very good point about you tow hooks ... make sure they are tied into the framerail properly. Good tires or bad, everyone needs a tug around here, and these are a very important item on any Jeep.
The ribbing is all in good fun around here ... sometimes (and oftentimes) is made to get a point across. Like I tell my kids ... if you want yer ass rubbed, go see your mother, and I ain't your mother. Take the ribbing thusly ...

I've got 31x11.50 TSL LTB's and I love them....except for getting to work. I change them for the trail, that's why we buy air tools right! I did get to ride with flexjay87 real good guy and I met Bob from chicago who is also pretty cool . As they can attest to I am not afraid to test the waters and ride along with someone vs. getting in over my head. But I'm the noob and I'm here to learn.

it could be worse Ramsey. My wife had to ride in mine all the way to NC, then wheel in 95* heat. 13 hours in the MJ gave me a headache. In order to "talk" in the cab you have to be near shouting at highway speeds.
