Hey guys, WELL,
i came across another older jeep for a reasonable price. and seeing as how i need money and parts, i was going to buy it, take the parts i need (unless someone offers more than i think its worth to me) and sell the rest, and i mean ALL the rest. ANYTHING.

would you guys be interested in anything from a brick red 89 cherokee. (sans the front seats, sorry) this includes all electrical, mechanical, anything.

you name it, if i can pull it at that point, you got it.

there are tires
wheels
hitch
control arms
axles,

everything, all stock and in decent shape (the hitch could use a good grinding down, but otherwise ok shape)

as you all know, we live in the north, with salt, so no guarantees about any bolts (ill do my best)


before i buy id like to see how many of you would be interested in parts. remember, ANY parts.

what rear axle? I am looking for a 27 spline 8.25. is the windshield intact?

rear axle. (i dont quite remember ill have to go back and check, sorry) its a 89 so i am leaning more towards dana 35, but i just cant remember.

though if no one else needs anything, it wont really be worth it...

1 hour 50 mins we could meet up somewhere in between (if i get it that is, i need to see if i can get a guy to come pick up the carcass since i will be selling the axles as well. if i cant get a guy to pick it up cheap, i cant buy it...)

but im sure there is a gas tank skid,

ill check if there are tow hooks.

alright, there is enough demand that if i can get the guy to pick up the carcass ill be buying the jeep.

(BTW to all: no seats, no front fascia, no exhaust, and no right side doors)

well i bought it, and am picking it up within the week.
ive noted teh "dibs" and will snap some pics of the parts when i get them off, so you can see the condition they are in when off the jeep.

EVERYthing that is stock on a chero. [including the hitch] is on this one and buyable. interior, exterior, everything

EXCEPT these things that are either mine, or damaged [it had been tboned]

mine:
seats [front ones]
header
front fascia
vent windows

damaged:
front and rear passenger side doors
possible feul pump [could be the relay, im not sure]

any thing esle is fair game
ill pm everyone when i get the jeep and can check condition

then ill pm them again with pics or anything else after i get the parts off

hey what transfer case does it have? if it has an np231 how much for the imput output shaft?

how much you think they are worth? it is an np231, but shipping to SoCal might be a bit much for something that you could find for just as cheap in a pick-apart..

this is realy meant for guys whom i could meet somewhere, or somesort of local shipping business.

but by all means, if you want the shafts [or even the whole case, i wouldnt charge much for it]

I have an 85 2-Door that I am finally letting go... It's been in the family since '85, but it's time to move on. This is really one of those cases where the parts are better than the whole. I put a lot of work into this....but it's not complete. Meanwhile, there are some fantastic parts. My intention is to part this thing out in the near future...

I have gas tank skid (stock)...
Front skid (stock)
EXCELLENT INTERIOR PARTS....including tan seats with no rips, tears, or stains!
Newly installed (summer 06) AC parts..
Newly installed rear cargo area carpet.
Sound bar (without speakers)
Weber Carb 32-36 DGEV with 1,500 miles on it.
Re-upholstered headliner (tan) with space for sun roof.
V. nice tan interior door panels.
The 2.5 engine has really good compression....it was rebuilt some time ago.
New oil pan.
Recently installed clutch.
New rear wiper motor.
Extra set of doors (with glass, regulators, locks, etc.)
Mirrors..
Really nice chrome bumpers.

Send me some PMs if you are interested in anything. I'll try to put some photos together over the next week or so... I just bought an '01 today, so it's time to move on.
