8.25 Diff cover or armor

Who makes the best protection for the 8.25? Either a replacement or a bolt over, I like bolt over the best my self.

Or does anyone have one they want to get rid of?

I had a Turbo City glider for my 8.25. The corners of it would catch on rocks all the time. Then finally one day, it snagged on a rock and ripped completely off. Luckily, it did not damage the stock cover and I had no leaks.

I replaced it with a Blue Torch cover.

I just got a set of Ruff Stuff diff covers for my D30 & Ford 8.8. Make no mistake, they are BADASS. 3/8" Steel plate on the cover, 1/2" steel plate on the ring. I think my axles will be breaking before my diff covers ever bend.

As far as I found, the Ruff Stuff covers were the best bang for the buck. BTF is only 1/4" plate & 3/8" ring. And the Ruff Stuff covers were cheaper than Blue Torch to boot.

I have the rustys one on the front of mine. they make it for the 8.25 also.

I have the Rusty's for my 8.25 and it is solid. I'm not saying it's the best, but so far so good.
