reading .2xx VAC and i read around here it should be between .5 and 1.

Probably just gonna replace it but just double checking.

always have problems starting in damp weather...

Any idea why he used AC? seems a sensor should be DC perhaps its a typo and ill measure that too...

Year? Manner of testing?

I may be wrong, but if the CPS produces an impulse, rather than straight AC, a meter that is not quick enough to respond, or does not read square wave impulses correctly on the AC scale might not give an accurate reading. I'd make sure it's right before proceeding.

1989 I6... did like in the writeup... put a multimeter on the plug connectors and turned over the engine... not sure how to tell if its right so any input would be welcome... just bought a cps and about to change it but guess ill read up a little since it 50 bucks and a PITA to change...
