View Full Version : Heater hose routing questions

The '95 XJ my mother purchased has no heat. A quick look under the hood revealed that the heater control valve was busted up top and a hose was disconnected. The hose coming off the top of the t-stat housing is routed to where the hose for the motor should go. Is there a diagram that tells me where to run these hoses, so that I don't mess things up. The one diagram so far that I've found was for a '93. I know that the '91 and up had the open cooling system, but I'm not sure if there were any changes made between '93 and '95.

Thanks.

I'm on hold right now and can expect a 30 minute wait but afterwards, I can take pics of that area if it will help.

I busted my control valve changing my thermostat.

Did a quick search for "heater valve" and came up with this.

There is a pic at the bottom of the thread with the hose routing.

Good luck.
