Short Arms and shocks

Ok dudes. I can "fit" just about any length shock I want. This catch is that I cant spend over 100 bucks a shock. I am going to airshocks within a matter of a few months (read: REALLY SOON). What is THE cheapest 10-12" travel shocks you guys have found. I have Doestech3000s now, but they are shot. I got a set of 9" travel Rancho5000s but thats to short for my 5" uptravel I built in the front end.

What have you internet savy people found? I dont want the stud mount. 2 standard mounts is perfect. I looked all around and RE seems to be the cheapest at $80 a pop.

Don't tell me how bad its going to ride, etc. I dont really care for a few snow trips and a couple JV trips. They will be broken and bent within 2 months anyhow.

Thanks.

How much lift scrappy? I may have a spare set of shocks sitting around I can give cracker to give you.

I dont know how much lift! I got some rancho 9000s today in the 13" travel variety. I know my compressed length... 17"s or so. If you got something like that cal, send em' my way.

This might help...here is a chart I found for the Bilstein 5100 series.

travel.. finish.. ext.. comp.. p/n
8.6" Plated 22.5" 14.05" BE5-6253-H5
9.24" Plated 24.35" 15.11" BE5-A463-H5
10.02" Plated 25.92" 15.9" BE5-A464-H5
10.17" Plated 25.93" 15.91" BE5-6248-H5
11.01" Plated 28.01" 17" BE5-A465-H5
11.94" Plated 29.7" 17.91" BE5-6249-H5
14.3" Plated 34.9" 20.75" BE5-6250-H5

Price I found on those is $75 each plus shipping, I've only looked in one place though so I dunno if you could do better than that or not. (from Jason over at jeepin.com / jeepinoutfitters.com). Those are bushings on both ends with 5/8" holes and included hardened sleeves you can put in for 1/2" ID.

edit: Also a big list here for the Edelbrock IAS shocks

http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/product.php?productid=1450&cat=471&page=1

at $85.99 plus shipping.

I'll measure my stockpile tomorrow after work. I know I have a set of 11" travel 5150's sitting around, but I think vintagespeed has claim to them for the back of his MJ already (and they are the softer valving). I think I have some procomps and some rancho's in that variety sitting around too. You need front, rear, or both?

Actually Cal, I think i got it handled. I "found" a pair of Rancho9000s 14" travel that I put it. Took a little cutting and welding, but these are going to work perfect.

Thanks though!
