shock boots: any one not using them?

Leaving them on is worse. You'll trap shat against them by doing that.

Where I am it is even worse than dirt. If salt from winter roads gets trapped in there, that is no good!!!

i dont use them and never had any salt get in them from the roads in the winter but i try and hit the car wash and spend a 1.50 on a rinse

I ran them on my MJ for 3 years with no problems. My current XJ I left them off, with no problems.
Salt, dirt, etc. IMO, I don't think that it matters either way.

I meant salt getting stuck inside the boots if you use them, that is why I wouldn't put boots on mine.

I have one shock boot on out of my 4 shocks. After I ripped one off the back axle, I got some boots when I ordered a new one, but only got far enought to put it on the one I replaced.
