Well I leave today at 14:00 for basic training at Ft. Jackson, SC. I will be back to the Bay Area on leave in December. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has helped me out with my junk, and that I will see you all around Christmas.

Good luck at Basic. Just remember its a game. Play by the rules and you wont have any problems. Expect the worst, hope for the best. I watched Full Metal Jacket A crap load before I went into the Marine Corps just to prepair my self for the worst. It ended up being cake compaired to the movie.

Well Im done with Basic, what an experience. I graduated today and I ship tomorrow for my Advanced Individual training. I should be able to use the internet a few times a week at the post library, or if I get off post passes on the weekend. Still havent seen my junk, but I should be back on the trail in December when I come home for Christmas.

It feels good to be back.

Where you going to AIT? I loved basic and loathed AIT. Any good stories from basic?

lol, basic for you guys is chill as antartica. you get to watch tv and you have stress cards.

6 weeks aint shid either. cause right around week 7 or the toruture is when the weak ones strat to break.
