Clutch looses pressure and fluid, however no leak can be found. I have looked under the mc on the firewall and inside around the fuse box-nothing. I have also check the bellhousing-nothing. Where is the fluid going?

After bleeding the system it seems to be okay for the next few days and then bad again.

Possibly a crack in the line from the firewall to the bellhousing? No signs of leaks anywhere? Possibly its small, and leaves no traces, but enough to loose fluid.

Have someone operate the clutch pedal while you eyeball the hose from the master cylinder to the slave. Sometimes, pressure hoses can "delaminate" and start building bubbles without leaking - but it's very obvious when you look at it in operation.

First, not my jeep--
I thought it just had a small hole where it was sucking air into the system, but the owner said he has been constantly adding fluid. I crawled under it the other day and everything was dry. I can find no trace of a leak or residue where there had been fluid.

Pull back the boot on the slave cyl. It might be leaking there and lust like a wheel cylinder, you can rarely detect a leak with a visual inspection.

Is the slave leaking inside the bellhousing?

I don't think so, because it is not leaking out.

I think I am going to get some UV dye and mix it with the fluid and see if I can track the leak down that way.
