Swapping Tires - Will This Work?

wanna swap my 235/75/R15 bfg t/a kos from my '90 wrangler to my '97 xj.
both are stock, no lifts, factory rims.

will there be any rubbing?
what is the max size tire i could get on the 97 xj w/o mods?
will the 235/75 put any stress on the xj's 4wd drivetrain?

You will be fine. If you've ever taken a look around here you will see that this question is asked all the time here. You should be able to fit up to 30" tire on stock suspension with no/minimal rubbing.
