Getting ready to weld the bridge to the HP44, have the RE bridge clearenced in back and I'm going to weld the front to the top of the diff, question is...Can I weld the whole thing (about 10" worth of weld) at one time after preheating and then let the whole thing cool? I was going to use the drysweep insulation to slow the cooling down after the welding. Should I do the front and then the rear in two seperate operations or? Thanks.

I welded mine in 5-6" sections. I did mine twice. I would do the front first 5" then the back 5" then come back to the front and rear after it has cooled down.
