Please fill out the form saying why or why not there should be a park. All the help would be great.

Done. It would be nice to have more legal trails nearby.

Cullman's my old stompin' ground. Be good to have some more trails for trucks though instead of ATVs taking it over.

Well the word is out it is going to happen. The state put up 450,000 grant for the project and the city of cullman was supposed to put 150,000. Should be pretty nice. I think there was a few property neighbors complaining. The park is supposed to be out near Dodge City.

we all personally thing its gonna be a flop...but lets hope they're smart about it...my boss's brother is trying to get the contract for cuttin all the trails...which would, IMO, save the park...cause last i heard they were gonna bring some landscape engineers in to cut the trails...GAY! would be nice if we were involved....wouldn't yall rather wheel trails that were designed by offroaders instead of a bunch of engineers trying to keep erosion to a low??

Man there's engineers for everything now days.... They're probably some landscape architects.... I dont know about where you are but here in NC if its more than 1 ac. disturbed you need permits... So you cant just go and cut, etc. or you'll get fined (at least here in NC and if you get caught).

I just wish I had a large chunk of land around here, I would really like to design an "ECO" friendly park that wouldnt need closing due to erosion, stream pollution, etc. Maybe you'll get lucky and the people doing the design/cutting actually do wheel.....

yea, see, IMO, erosion is one of the things that keeps people coming back....if the park is the same every time you go...it will get boring....take Tellico, or Greyrock Orv, Summertown, or the local gardendale trails...we keep goin back becuase its never the same...thats the only reason i think its a dumb to try to make erosion resistant trails...

Thats what happens when the state gets involved, but another park would still be good.

agreed...another thing is the lack of rock in that area....its all dirt....so they'd have to bring in a shitton of rocks...
