2DR vs 4DR WEIGHT, what's the diff?

Does anyone know from actually weighing their XJ, what the true weight is?

I'm planning to tow my XJ on long trips with a motorhome, and need to know whether buying a 2dr over my preferred 4dr would be much of a benefit.

The 2dr is about 50lb lighter than the 4dr.

my 4 door weight with normal load of day to day stuff is 3825#

wow, is that all? I would have guessed 2 doors, window and latch mechanism, more overall length, I'd have guessed 200lbs at least

The overall length and the wheelbase of a 2dr XJ is the same as a 4dr. Don't forget the doors of a 2dr are longer and heavier than the front doors of a 4dr.
