Is this a competition setting? Noticed the yellow vests and cones at the start, or am I wrong? Regardless, it is impressive. I'm not sure I'd even ride in his rig, much less try to drive it myself!

yup it is a competition, they show lots of it over on Pirate all the time, norway or iceland, someplace like that, can't remember where for sure, it is definately insane to watch

i saw a Discovery Channel tv show on competitions like these in some other country (Ice-land i think) a while back..

these rigs have enough HP they can drive across small bodies of water!!

thats some serious wheel speed combined with paddle type tread tires..
