junkyard roof rack

i will be heading to a junkyard today and will be pullig off some roof racks from stock jeeps. i have a 95 with the roof rack on top. but i need to know what years are compatible for the bars.

am i right in assuming that a 96 and earlyer will fit my rack?

My 98 and my 93s racks are the same.

My 99 has shorter rails than the 95. The rail cross-section is the same, but the crossbars differ somewhat too in the shape of the latches. I think they would interchange, though. I don't know when the earlier design was changed, but there are two earlier designs, of which my old 87 had the second. They used a different track, and thumbscrews instead of pushbuttons.
