Hey I am new to Off Roading. I love my XJ but it has a nasty shake in the front end. I know from reading it is the track bar, well I think atleast. I need to know what is best to get and where. Please help. I am just home from Iraq and would like to have my Jeep fixed before my arms heal. thanks again. GreenJeepXJ

The Rubicon Express trac bar and bracket are good items.I've gotten all my RE stuff from www.bigoffroad.com . JohnJohn has pretty good prices.

First and foremost...
WELCOME HOME and THANK YOU for your service!!:us:
Arms Heal? If you're in the Springs I'll be more than happy to loan you mine...anytime! Just let me know.
The nasty shake (AKA DeathWobble) can be caused by other items as well. Before spending any money a little more research may be in order. Out of balance tires can lead to DW and a bad alignment as well.
When exactly does the wobble occur? At any speed? Only while breaking? Going uphill? Downhill? Both?
I know it sounds crazy but mine only happened at 48-50MPH going slightly downhill or on level ground. Going uphill, even a slight grade, and it didn't shake at all. Mine was caused by really bad tire wear.
I recently replaced my trackbar with a Rubicon Express HD Trackbar and Drop Bracket. I got them from 4WheelParts for around $250 (I think).

RE is a good one. Also take a look at TnT Customs setup. They build top notch equipment.

And welcome home.

Since you're not a vendor here I doubt your post will last very long.

OK you lost me what does him having questions about track bars have to deal with being a vender?
I have the RE HD Adjustable TRACbar and bracket. IF you get one it's best to get both really. IF you can find someone with a RE or TNT or anything after market for the tracbar bracket you'll see how week that point is between the body of the xj and the axle. I went with both after the 4.5 lift and have yet to have any DW.

He's referring to the post I deleted.Someone was advertising their goods in this thread instead of in the vendors' forum and thats a no-no. :nono:
