Is it ok to run 33 12.50 on stock gears? Is it safe?

it isn't going to kill your gears, you will "loose" a lot of power and it will be much more sluggish for driving. But it you are running larger tires the difference may not be much.
Also you will use more gas to do the same speed, higher RPM's due to larger tires.

just put it in 3rd gear leave it there and save for gears

I'm running BFG mud terrains and they are awsome. I deal with a lot of snow and mud and they work magic i have never gotten stuck. I loose a little bit of power and it burns a little more gas but not a very big difference.
