View Full Version : is it just me or is the NAXJA logo banner got a Black bar through it

when I load a NAXJA page the main logo banner at the top has a Black bar though it like when someone dies or something and you put tape across teh badge or something. Is this for reason or am I just not loading the entire logo?

Yes, it is there.

A NAXJA Member from the Colorado Chapter was KIA in Iraq recently (the news just came up today).

Interesting. It's a good idea - but I'm not seeing in when I refresh pages (I'd have expect to see something like a "mourning band" - we've got enough active, reserve, and prior military here...)

Perhaps a check of the script is in order?

Yeah, I noticed that. I was wondering what it was. I thought the site got hacked, or it was some type of error, page not loading.

That was probably it - it's there now...

Sad is the reason it needs to be there, but if it's going to be there, it should be seen.

It's Mac, NOT MAC. Mac is the computer, MAC stands for Media Access Controler (or 35 other things).

Ok, I feel REAL bad for Seth and his close ones, but could someone please inform me what the black bar through the NAXJA logo has to do with that? Is it like the flag being at half mast or something? I guess I'm just dumb. Jeff

It is a mourning symbol such as flying the flag at half mast but this is more personal. It is reconizing him as an important part of our famliy and we are paying his memory tribute for the sacrifice he made.

Stop taking offense, one day you'll own a real computer with no propritary software on it. Then you can really be happy. :)
