Anyone who has installed a D and C cage...

I have one on order and my 92 has the overhead console... will I have to remove it to install the cage? If so, I wanted to know ahead of time so I can get the rig prepped. Tried calling and emailing D and C but haven't been able to get ahold of them to ask.

I called them when I bought mine and they apparently have never seen a cherokee with an overhead console. I have a '92 with the console. I haven't actually gotten around to installing the cage yet but I have mocked it in because I had the same concerns. There looks like there will be 1/4"-1/2" clearance between the main hoop and console. The windshield bar looks to work also if you move it a little further down the windshield of back in the spreaders.
