I am looking for 32" tires for my DD to get me through the winter without having to regear for now and allow me to use my stock 15x7 rims (I have wheel spacers). I have found a couple of tires in the range and was wondering if any of you have had experience with these tires and what you thought of them.

well I dont know if the 1 inch difference in width will make a difference but many people find including myself that you have to regear with 32s, at least 32sx11.50, Many find that 31s dont need them

I would never run the uniroyal laredo or Goodyear RTS. Try looking at the General Grabber AT2- great treadwear warranty and nice design with the severe weather approval. I just got two sets- one for the wife and one for the mom in law- only about 1K on them so far, but they seem to be great. One set replaced the BFG Dueler A/T's which wore terribly- so I would not run those either.

the bridgestone dueler at's wear incredibly, got me through 16" of snow and are quieter on the highway than any other AT tire ive personally owned. Last set got nearly 80,000 out of!
BFG AT's wore horrible on one jeep i had, were terrible in snow and ice, rain for that matter too! Bridgestones are worth the money.

thanks for the replies....Woody, I don't see the General Grabber AT2 in a 265/75 R15 size. All I find is the Grabber TR and the AmeriTrac TR in the size I need. The AT2 looks like a great tire though, like the tread, so does the Bridgestone Dueler SylerG recommends. Liking the fact the he got 80,000 out of them also. Also, I fogot to post Yokohama Geolander H/T-S.....I have heard decent things about them.....any of you have opinions on them?

thanks again

I recently bought the Geolander tires. My first choicewas the Bridgestone Dueler but there was a mix up in my order and I ended up getting a good deal on the Geolanders.I was amazed at the traction they have on ice and snow. These tires are so much better than my old ones(Autopar Sportmans I think).I got the 31 in ones though.I would not hesitate to get them again.

screw it, I am going with the Bridgestone Dueler AT. Got a buddy that works at discount tire and will give 5 of them to me balanced, mounted, etc for $500...thanks for the recommendation StylerG
