I don't really want to use this section of the forum for this but I'm concerned about one of the folks that ran the trail with us yesterday.
Sandy experienced serious mechanical steering problems after the run. I went out to help and found a few problems that I rectified and she headed back to Chandler. I asked that she post up or call to let me know her status.
I have not heard back, anyone heard from her, or, Sandy, please post up.

I don't know if this is much help - but her Profile says her last activity was 4 hours ago on the forum.

Hey Jim I'm o.k. thanks for the concern. Sorry I didn't contact you earlier but I posted on another thread, didn't see this one until just now. Thanks so much for the help Sat nite. Everything went well on the trip back except I still couldn't get my passenger window to go up and drove through one heck of a dust storm. I'm still tasting sand from that one. Hands are still sore from gripping the wheel too. That steering problem was pretty scarey :scared:. I drove moderately and got home a little after 10pm. Sure had a fun day otherwise. Haven't got XJ checked out yet but will do soon.

Ever find out what the situation was with your rig other than the steering stabilzer? What happened with the front bumper situation?

I haven't had it looked at yet. I need bump stops - evidently I have too much flex at certain angles so the tire catches the bumper. I'd like to cut the other side to match what we did on the trail. As for the steering problem I probably just need to have everything tightened like you said, but I'll get that checked too. Hopefully I'll know more after Christmas, I wanna go play. I see you're going out on the 30th. I'd like to try Chivo falls sometime.
