front drive shaft q's

How much lateral play is to much in a front driveshaftyoke? Just put new u joints in to try and relieve vibes and didn't do it. I was looking at the yoke to shaft connection and noticed about a 1/2" deflection and was wondering if that was to much? Thanx Digger

Way to much, did you replace the cardin joint also?

We just put a new dreive shaft in and my vibes are gone, Soooo where is the best place to buy a stock front drive shaft.
