is there a way to adjust the down shift on the trans
mine life to "search" between 3 and 4 alot while driving

Stock tires and gears? Is it full of the correct, unburnt fluid? That would be Dexron, not ATF+ by the way...

im changing fluid tommarrow235 75R15 aren't actually a stock size, but they shouldn't cause gear hunt either unlss you're towing, hauling a load, or doing some serious hills...or have bad/low tranny fluid.
