Lets see, if I take the 85 the list is long:

MPI fuel injection swap from a 91 camanche
Install radio
put on the 33" tsl's
front driveshaft conversion
new tranfer case
spool the 8.8
electric fan
snorkel

If I take the 96 just put it on the trailer and go.:D

Well to make things better a few things could be done:

install radio
dual electric fans
new manifold, o2 sensors, muffler, and tailpipe
and many more.

Just a few odds and ends I need to get done.
* Install header. (I'm really dreading this one.)
* Re-adjust front bumpstops.
* Get Co2 mounted in Jeep.
* Probably need an oil change befrore then.
* I ought to change the front diff. oil too I guess. Rear Diff and TC was done recently.
* Verify that I can borrow a trailer. Truck is taken care of.
David, that some of you have met at Redbird will be hauling my junk down to WF for me. If my plan works, I'll have him buying an XJ before long.:D
* Secure funds to allow me to bring all the raffle stuff back home. :laugh3:

replace busted CTM, make sure speakers still work (gotta have tunes) and paint.

Step one is done: I washed it last Sun. Ror took it to the Cliffs (which is a no no) at the end of Oct. while I was in NYC, broke it and brought it home caked in mud. I power washed every inch of it inside and out, scrubbed it and I even used soap!

We will also have a major install on the Dodge, which Ror will find out about on Mon. :) It's not a "must do," but he will want it done asap. I'm such a great wife!

Right now, no.
This stupid Kansas City deal I was handed has my schedule all funked up for the entire winter/spring.

The 'revised' schedule for this stupid WMS roll-out crap has me in B'ham the weekend of WF.

This is what happens when you let engineers and managers try and run projects that floor people have to use. Supervisors end up fixing it.....

I got a set of JCR rock sliders, but my Bushwacker flairs won't alow them to attatch to the pinchrail. So I need to pull them off, trim the flairs, and I want to fix the shitty trim job on the rear fenders (need cleaned up, repainted, some silicone applied, and hammered over flat). Really in all should only take a few hours with someone there to keep me motovated.

Sunday would really be the best for me (sounds like it would work better for you too). I could come over mid morning say around 9/10:00 am. I'll get your lunch, and if we're still going some pizzas for supper for your time, and the use of your warm grarage. Pm me with the details, and we'll set it up. I'll be coming in from SR30.

the one we fixed, bolt broke off right at the frame.
Probably because I'm overextending the shocks. I'm going to lower my upper shock mount, then bumpstop so I don't over compress them.
I'll use grade 5 or 8 bolts this time.
I'm just going to lower them about 2 inches, they're really short, I felt them overextend when I hit a pothole.

That rear suspension is working with those new shackles. You might still want to consider a set of $15 shock mounts welded halfway up the tube. That would give you your 2 inches and hold you over till the axle swap.

Got the old front axle out, 215K miles and the balljoints, bearings and gears are still pretty tight. Gotta swap arms after lunch and put the new axle in the front with the 4.5 RE springs.

Need to replace the center pins on my leafs and recenter the shims. PITA job but broke em both last time out at the Cliffs.

Put a new yoke on my 8.25 after the welds from the Summer Badlands run finally broke. Want to pull it and drill it out so I can use u-bolt retainers instead of straps. Twice now, I've ripped up a u-joint at the yoke in the quarry. Need to get a 44 so I can go with 1350's instead of the skinny 1310's.

Would really like to get a winch before the run BUT... that also means a new front bumper. Too much $$$. If I could get a nice "trade-in" for my JCR stage 3 front, powdercoated, I'd be able to swing it maybe. I like his new pre-runner winch model.

Jeremy, Did you ever get those shims turned so you can drive over 40? JIM.
Jim I pretty shure he did. IIRC he, and I talked about that one day I stopped to shoot the breese last fall. Don't think he ever got his windshield fixed either.

Been pretty busy lately. Here is a list of what I have done the past three weeks.

Things replaced on the van from the crash:

passenger side I-beam assembly
radius arm and bracket
tierod
gearbox
shocks front and rear
sway bar bushings
new brake lines in the front
$360.00 at Sears to staighten out the steering.

Things done to the 96 to get it ready:

tsl's back on
New cat, muffler, tailpipe, and o2 sensor
new rear brakes
tranfer case skid put on
new plugs
installed front brackets and hooks

Still a few more things to do on both vehicles before we leave. I hope I don't run out of time. Gonna be cutting it close.

Ripped off a rear shock mount this weekend at WF1. And I have to get a new trailer tire, to replace the one that blew.

I might cut and fold my rear quarters.
I might add some more tube to the cage.
I might make a new trackbar.
I might make a traction bar.
I might swap out master cylinders.

But if it doesn't get any warmer fixing the shock mount and getting a new trailer tire will be the only things I do. And I will probably get a new CB.

I got my front lift spacers installed this weekend, and I got the shock mount fixed.
Gotta install my free to me K-40
fix a rear brake drum
replace the rear driveshaft joints, the detroit has eaten those up.

Oh yeah, trimmed the front fenders a few inches. For my first time I don't think I did too bad. Let me see if I can get a pic. Pretty damn cold outside. With the wind chill the temp is around -35.

I don't remember if I said what happened or not so here is a short summary.

Driving down a gravel road, turning right the front right spindle comes apart and sends me into an embankment. Damage caused by the accident involved raplacing quite a few parts. Just a couple more than what I said a couple of posts ago.
95% replaced by me in my cold ass driveway because the van is too tall to fit into my garage. I could replace a ford i-beam blindfolded now because I pretty much had to do it twice. Pretty easy.

Have an AJ bumper on rush order, and just ordered RE Drop brackets, braces and jks quick disconnects. Now i need to bleed the brakes (think i got some air in them) and move the front brake lines as well as remove the rear sway bar. Maybe then my RE 3.5 will be closer to complete..good thing i only have a couple hour drive

8.8 is in, got my pinion adapter from the ford dealership for $33 instead of the net for $35 plus shipping.
I'm using my stock dshaft with the adapter and the slip yoke and I don't have any vibes, so I'm saving up later for an SYE and dshaft.

Almost forgot, TJ brakelines go on Wed. morning. I ain't messing with it though, me and brakelines that have been together for 11 years don't get along. This job is getting done at the local shop. Call me lazy, don't care.

New ultra beefy rear driveshaft is in. Bed is completely framed and ready for paint. Frame is chopped and re-engineered. Rear springs are rebuilt, shocks installed, axle painted and installed. All that is left to do is bolt the bed on, replace the motor mounts and a few sundry things.
