crysler 8.25 yoke question

I am looking for a yoke for my 96 cherokee. Will any year 8.25 yoke fit my 96 or are they different in some years? Is there another axle yoke that will fit my 96? Thanks for the help.

Any year 8.25 will work. I don't think any others will work, different rearends have different spline counts for the pinion stem. If you can find one that is the same ID, and spline count, it might work, but the OD of the yoke might not work with the 8.25 seal. Easiest way is to get another 8.25 yoke, IMO.

Ok, so the yoke from a 94 8.25 is different than the one on my 96. With the one I got from Les the pinion shaft stuck out to far and would hit the u-joint. So now we know there is some kind of difference in some of the 8.25's. I will post a pic this afternoon of the differences between the two. Now to find a match.
