over head console

ok so im in the middle of a project that will take a few weeks but im planning ahead. i will be installing some overhead fog lights on the roof rack and i might be placing the switch in the over head console. i need to remove it to see how much space there is and to run a few wires. i have removed the small torx bolt out of the frount of it but it will not come down. it seems to be stuck by some other mounts or something. what do i have to do?

please respnd soon otherwise i will fry up in there. (around 90 degrees in the sun with forest green paint and lether interior)

The OHC for '97+ slides forward after removing the front screws. Yours might be similar.

in my 91 it slides back

i figured it out shortly after posting. for anyone who wants to know the 95 slides back.
