Exhaust support ideas

I'm planning on redoing my entire exhaust system in a few weeks since mine is beat to crap and has more holes then swiss cheese. The factory mounts that hold up my exhaust are also utterly destroyed and I have no idea how it's staying in place as it is so I want to rebuild that too but I want to make it GOOD. I'm sick of having to crawl under there and reweld the brackets after I clip a log or something.

What have you guys done for homebrew exhaust support?

they sell metal exhaust strapping at the auto parts stores that is basically a roll of 1/2" wide flat bendable metal strap with holes in it. bend it to the shape, wrap it around wherever you want, put a bolt thru the holes and tighten it down. i have been using this for about a year with no issues.
