if you cant do it yourself, at least try to get someone you know, or a friendly local mechanic that will let you watch or help. you should really know how to fix things if they break. all the more so on a modified vehicle.

Dude do it yourself. Currently I am saving up money for my lift and meats almost there!

I too am very sceptical about installing my lift but I have been doing research like a "MoFo" every time I read a forum i get confident. If you don't have a haynes book get one. You can do it if I can

Bingo, being 17 and not being experienced with cars also is another reason y im hesitant to try to do it

im 17. i installed my lift. i also do all the other mods to it myself. AND i have a project xj to work on as well...

the inexperienced part i can understand, not the age...

like i said though, make sure you are their during the installation. you really need to learn how to fix things when they break. or you will be out more money that you can possibly fathom

The only two bad PIA parts are the front spring bolts and the upper shock mounts. If nobody here offers to help head over to www.bmja.org and poke around. Been about 4 months but for a while there we were doing 2-4 jeeps a weekend.....but I'm up in the poconos. If you want to come up contact Joe Attardo at Endless mountain fab in blakeslee, you'll even be able to get your hands diirty, in fact it's required as a right of passage...:twak: The jeep god requires blood from true owners...:firedevil

Dude do the research you can do it. I am going to do install the lift myself with the help of my little brother (he does not know much but he will get me the tools) as i already said.

Put my first lift on my '94 XJ with the help of someone who had never worked on anything but a '66 Caprice. Took us two days, and that was with a few wrong parts that were sent out. I was 17 and had never turned a wrench in my life. Do it yourself.
