When I stopped in at Cutrubus Motors a batt wire harness for my xj, i asked about the little red one that has been there for a while.
from what little brousing i did here it is:
1989 XJ
Red
169XXX miles (low compared to my 95)
4.0
231
30/35
unknown on ABS
interior in fair to ok shape
they are asking 1050 for it, but the parts guy (whom inquired to the sales guys about it) said they could easily go to $900 for it.
its been on thier lot for some time. it has the usual XJ issues- marks its territory/sprays for a mate, cracked header, rear main, etc.
might make a good project
Im NOT the one selling it, im just passing the word on for someone whom has taken GREAT care of me.
ps: by the way, if you need a "dealer only" part, stop in and see the layton Cutrubus parts guys. the parts manager is working realy hard to help eliminate the "stealership" sterio type from his departement. (although the bigger buy behind the counter isnt). we generaly get discounts of 10-25% on dealer parts.
again, i get nothing out of this. they just treated me right and i in turn am returning the favor.
